Prompt 1 entry level accountant

Entry level Accountant

What do accountant do their first few years? This is a question I asked before reading a book that tells you all about accountants. I wanted to know what type of work I will be during my first few years in the field. This book answered all my questions about the things accountants do at an entry level and their daily routine.
Entry level accountants are called tax staff accountants; they hold this position between 1-3 years. They prepare tax returns, research tax issues, and counsel clients on tax matters under the supervision of a tax senior or manger. As a tax staff, you are basically shadowing a tax senior/manger and training throughout the process. Learning all the basic aspects of the job, like how to gather information from clients for a return, the process of doing a tax return, and how to prepare documents based on their new research finding. This information was helpful because it gives me an idea what to expect when entering my career.
